    Skeleton dark grey

I really like the skeleton watch: a bit thick PET bracelet a bit short.

Frequently asked questions

Is this watch water-resistant?

Yes. This watch features 5 ATM water resistance and a sapphire-hardened mineral glass. It's built to handle everyday moisture (rain, handwashing) and the scratch-resistant glass ensures durability in daily wear.

Can I easily swap the straps on the watch?

Yes, all our models have interchangeable straps with a quick-release mechanism. This lets you change the look or replace straps without any tools.
On the back of both halves, you will find a small pin. Push it gently inwards to easily remove the strap. To attach a new strap, simply simply reverse the process.

What is the difference between a quartz movement and an automatic movement?

Quartz movements are powered by a battery and are very precise, running as long as there is energy in the battery. Automatic movements, on the other hand, rely on kinetic energy from wearing the watch or winding it manually. An automatic watch is a collector's item due to its craftsmanship.

What is sapphire glass, and what does sapphire-coated mineral glass mean?

Pure sapphire glass, often found in high-end luxury watches, offers the highest scratch resistance. It provides optimal protection against scratches. Sapphire-coated mineral glass means that a regular watch glass has been reinforced with a fine layer of sapphire glass, providing high scratch resistance as well.

How does Superluminova work?

Superluminova is a special substance that glows in the dark after being exposed to light. It needs to be charged with light to glow. The brightness and duration of the glow depend on several factors, including the duration of exposure to light. Bright LED light, for example, works better than natural light on a cloudy day. The angle also matters; the watch charges less when it's moving on your wrist compared to when it's directly under a light source.

What are the jewels for?

The jewels are precision bearings made from synthetic ruby. They are placed at key friction points in the movement to reduce wear, minimize friction, and ensure smooth operation. This improves accuracy, increases durability, and helps the watch maintain reliable performance over many years.

What do I do if my automatic watch stops running?

An automatic watch is powered by movement. If it stops, simply wind it manually by turning the crown clockwise about 30-40 times, then set the time and wear the watch. Regular daily wear will keep it running. If the watch has not been worn for a while, it may need to be wound again. If it continues to stop despite regular wear and winding, we recommend having it checked by a professional watchmaker.

How often does the watch need maintenance?

An automatic watch typically requires maintenance every 3-5 years, depending on use and conditions. During servicing, the movement is cleaned and lubricated with AO Oil (which is used for this watch movement), a high-quality watch oil that reduces friction and helps ensure smooth, accurate operation over time. The movement is made entirely of metal, which means it is durable, serviceable, and fully repairable, allowing individual components to be cleaned, adjusted, or replaced rather than discarded. Regular maintenance helps preserve performance and extends the lifespan of the watch for many years.

Will the watch stop if I don’t wear it?

Yes, and that’s normal for any mechanical automatic. Fully wound, the movement is specified at roughly 40 hours off the wrist, so overnight/next‑day wear is typically fine; a longer break just means a quick restart before wearing.

Why might my watch run much shorter than the stated power reserve?

Think of power reserve as a buffer: once it has a “full tank”, normal daily wear keeps it topped up. If it has stopped, a short manual wind is a fast restart (we advise around 30-40 turns for stopped automatics), then the rotor takes over during wear.

How should I store an automatic watch?

Proper storage helps maintain the accuracy, condition, and longevity of your automatic watch. Automatic watches can run slightly differently depending on how they rest, as gravity affects the movement in different positions. Storing the watch face down (dial down) can help fine-tune minor time deviations, while face up (dial up) or on its side can reduce the risk of dial or hand contact and limit dust settling on the crystal. Alternating resting positions helps to balance out small positional timing variations. If you wear your watch daily or rotate it frequently, the resting position is generally less important since it is regularly wound through normal use.

For safe storage, keep your watch in a clean, dry place – ideally in a watch box with a soft lining or on a padded cushion – to protect it from scratches and impacts. Avoid exposure to magnetic fields, such as those from electronics or speakers, as magnetism can affect accuracy. High humidity should also be avoided to help preserve seals and overall performance. If you don’t wear your automatic watch often, a watch winder can keep the movement running, although for most standard automatic models, allowing the watch to stop and simply winding it before wear is perfectly fine.

If something seems wrong, what is the warranty/repair process?

You’re covered by a clear process: warranty cases go through the portal with a free return label and documented issue handling; if it’s outside warranty, repairs are assessed and quoted before you decide. That structure is there to keep a mechanical product serviceable over time, not disposable.
