    The watch is really suberb in all aspects display, hands, strap but one. The superluminova hands do not glow in the dark

Is this watch water-resistant?

Yes. This watch features 5 ATM water resistance and a sapphire-hardened mineral glass. It's built to handle everyday moisture (rain, handwashing) and the scratch-resistant glass ensures durability in daily wear.
Can I easily swap the straps on the watch?

Yes, all our models have interchangeable straps with a quick-release mechanism. This lets you change the look or replace straps without any tools.
On the back of both halves, you will find a small pin. Push it gently inwards to easily remove the strap. To attach a new strap, simply simply reverse the process.
What are the differences between Huxley and Huxley II?

Both models use the same slim 40×7.8 mm steel case and precise quartz movement. Huxley has a more moden and sporty look, while Huxley II delivers bright dial colours and a glossy case finish, plus a convenient magnifying lens over the date. Both have quick-change straps – pick Huxley for a refined everyday look or Huxley II for a bold, eye-catching style.
Do the Huxley watches have a date display?

Absolutely. Huxley features a subtle date window as part of its clean design. Huxley II goes further: it has a clearly visible date with a magnifying lens for instant reading. This means you get precise date information with a quick look, especially handy in low light.
What movement and battery life do the Huxley watches have?

Both use reliable Japanese quartz movement. Battery life is typically 2-3 years. When it’s time to change them we offer professional servicing to keep your watch sealed and protected.
How accurate is the watch?

Our quartz watches are incredibly accurate, typically losing or gaining only a few seconds per month. This means you can rely on your watch to keep precise time without frequent adjustments – perfect for everyday wear and busy lifestyles.
Do the indices or hands glow in the dark?

Yes, the Huxley and Huxley II use Superluminova on the hands and hour markers to improve readability in low-light conditions. The lume needs to be charged by light and will gradually fade over time. It’s designed to help you read the time in dim environments, rather than to provide constant brightness in complete darkness.
What is the difference between a quartz movement and an automatic movement?

Quartz movements are powered by a battery and are very precise, running as long as there is energy in the battery. Automatic movements, on the other hand, rely on kinetic energy from wearing the watch or winding it manually. An automatic watch is a collector's item due to its craftsmanship.
What is sapphire glass, and what does sapphire-coated mineral glass mean?

Pure sapphire glass, often found in high-end luxury watches, offers the highest scratch resistance. It provides optimal protection against scratches. Sapphire-coated mineral glass means that a regular watch glass has been reinforced with a fine layer of sapphire glass, providing high scratch resistance as well.
What is hypoallergenic 316L stainless steel?

This watch is crafted from 316L stainless steel – a premium, corrosion-resistant alloy widely used in high-quality watches and even medical instruments. It is highly durable, resistant to rust and tarnishing, and maintains its shine over time.
Because 316L stainless steel is hypoallergenic, it is especially suitable for sensitive skin and helps reduce the risk of irritation.

How does Superluminova work?

Superluminova is a special substance that glows in the dark after being exposed to light. It needs to be charged with light to glow. The brightness and duration of the glow depend on several factors, including the duration of exposure to light. Bright LED light, for example, works better than natural light on a cloudy day. The angle also matters; the watch charges less when it's moving on your wrist compared to when it's directly under a light source.
